Fulton Traffic Court Records

Town and Village Courts
Beyond the two city courts, Fulton County has town and village courts throughout the county. These handle traffic tickets for stops that happen outside Johnstown and Gloversville city limits.

Each court sets its own schedule. Some meet weekly, some biweekly, and some just once a month. Always call the court clerk before mailing in a plea or showing up in person. The court schedule may change around holidays or if a judge has a conflict.
Paying Your Traffic Ticket
Fulton County courts offer online payment for traffic tickets. You can plead and pay through the court websites for both Johnstown and Gloversville City Courts. For town courts, check with the specific court to see if online payment is available. Many still require mail-in payments or in-person visits.
Fines follow the statewide schedule. Speeding 1-10 mph over is $45 to $150 plus surcharge. Going 11-30 over costs $90 to $300 plus surcharge. Anything 31 mph or more over the limit is $180 to $600 plus surcharge. The surcharge on each ticket is $88 or $93. Credit card payments usually have a processing fee of 2.5 to 3 percent. Most courts accept cash, money order, and certified check.
